Nothing more to say really, if it's been organised it'll be here.

Might be an idea to camp a bit closer this time so we access to power points

where were the power points ?
one advantage of being out of the way was the lack of noise.

This will be the first outing for my new genny, no idea how loud that is :s

Also just found my rear head has dropped a valve so I'm sitting an engine before Cadwell...

Hi folks. I'm trailering my GK76 GSXR 400 down from Scotland for this for its first time around Cadwell, (but not mine ;) ), but I'm worried about the open Scorpion (race) end can being too loud ! It's an old, (stamped 2004), round section, stainless can approx. 16 inches long & 5 inches in diameter with a 2 inch diameter exit.
Anyone on here have something very similar fitted to their "across the frame, 4 cylinder 4 stroke 400"?
If so, have you ever failed the 105 db noise test with no "decibel killer" baffle fitted? Hopefully not !

I don't want to drive the 300 odd miles to Cadwell only for it to fail the noise test!

Kind regards.

Wullie.

Gonna be hard to tell really, you could try one of those db tester apps for your phone. My new system on my RVF is bloody loud so im not sure if thats going to pass and theres no way im drilling Ti endcaps to fit a baffle so im just gonna have to suck it up and see, guess if it fails im on the sherbets all weekend

105 is loud, the inline 4's always sound louder than they measure.
Some of the v4's sound mental loud and fly the noise tests.
