Re: My RVF400 (NOW FINISHED !!)
Updated pics of the rvf400. Carbon fibre Shark Fin, Battery Monitor With Carbon Mount (Red Back Light, switch fitted into infill), Rim Decals, more replacement screws & bolts of Ti, Stainless and Alloy, New Smaller plate. General tidy up of wiring and more polishing. New bolts for, and clean up of rear sprocket. The plan was to buy tanuki's magteks but forgot about the smaller front magtek rim and to be honest i am happy with the handling at the mo with the 3.5 and 120/60 tyre.

Quick Action Throttle - removed as only 8 degrees difference to standard so sold on, felt a bit awkward
Carbon Air Tray - Sold as the engine is running sweet as it is. engine performance is not what i bought the bike for
Clear Indicator Lenses - cheapened the look of the bike. like the older fashioned 90's look
Renthal Medium Superbike Grips - Replaced by progrip gel 724's for comfort
SES Aluminium Screen Brace - Just looked wrong in silver, replaced with tyga black steel version
MHP Carbon Half System, SP1 Style - Came with my first RVF but wanted a twinstack to get the 95 8 hour look so sold on and bought a mercury
Slingshot Racing Quick Release Fuel Cap - The Sparco weighs nothing so use that one
Alloy Exhaust Hangar - Bought A Carbon One

Looking good!
May I ask where you got the battery monitor from?
Thanks

Re: My RVF400 (Work In Progress)
The Battery Monitor i made myself over the weekend out of bits i have collected over the years from other jobs. Been helpful so far as the battery was registering 18.6v at 3000 while riding but 14.1v while reving to 5000 at standstiill. A new rectifier is on the way and just hope this solves the problem.

Re: My RVF400 (NOW FINISHED P5 !!)
Rechecked the alternator voltage at 5000 and all 3 readings are 46.9 volts AC, too low or too high. Resistance is within range and no continuity. Just want your input before fitting & possibly frying a new rectifier and battery.

Absolutely fantastic attention to detail there. Very inspiring indeed. Can't wait to start work on mine now.
