@ Neo

No I haven't tested properly for an air leak yet, I was going to but I couldn't find the easy start in the garage. You say anything flammable will do? Maybe wd40 or gt85 or is that not going to work? Yeah the rubbers are the ones I got with the bike, I have an rvf set that I put in petrol a while ago to loosen off, I'll try those before buying more :peace:

@ Triniriders

All the earths are good and tight and were cleaned off when I got the bike. It was having battery drain issues which turned out to be the Cdi, but I had cleaned and checked all earths to eliminate that problem ;)

If they've gone hard enough that you need to soak them in something there no good.

Out of stock at davidsilvers (£8.10 inc VAT), £42 on wemoto, £9 each from lings honda and euros 9.50 (£7.85) each from cmsnl plus 13 euros shipping.

Expensive. How good are davidsilvers at getting out of stock items in? Next option would be Lings, but it's so expensive for a round bit of rubber.

Don't have a local bike shop unfortunately. The only place that slightly caters for bikes near me is Halfords and Allwoods. But I don't think either can order in bike parts, and would probably whack £20 on top for the privilege anyway.
