Re: Picture request: Type one NC30
Looking for the depth of the different coloured sections so I can provide them to painter for reference, similar to the info shown in the pics for mids & lowers of previous pages of this thread.
Any help is much appreciated!

Greatly appreciated indeed. In my opinion, if the tank paintwork isnt right then the whole job looks poo.

Ok not an easy thing to measure for paint but here goes.
I will show a pic first then a drawing to try and help hope you can understand.

Not a good start got a pic of right side and a drawing of the left,
But hey,It's the same both sides,As you can see i have taken the measurement of the top of the rear mount up to the first line, then up from there.

Re: Picture request: Type one NC30
Frontal pics,

What you see in these pics,is a steel rule on edge and flat,It's the only way i could show you were the line ends,
I placed another flat piece of steel on top of the tank up front were it's flat,I let this project over the front of the tank and took a measurement between the two,That measurement of white is 103mm.
One from the rear but nothing to really measure there as you have it in the first pic.

And one of the front corner to show you were the white and gold ends,

Ok i hope this helps,if i were you i would use these measurements and set your tank up using insulation tape something you can see put the lines on the tank using the tape to see how it matches,
Although this is genuine paint on a uk tank i will take no responsibility for these measurements.
Hope this helps and Good luck.
