Nothing's been done to NC35#3 apart from removing the restrictors, still need to clean carbs and check it's got std jets in.

I cleaned the carbs (didn't really need it) and set float hights (all were too low) on the other NC35[1] on Sat and flushed the coolent and replaced with new, as soon as the service kits and other bits arrive I'll be doing more, for a start NC35#4 needs a new choke cable (the plastic nut has split and fallen off) plus a new rear tank rubber. It's also got one broken headlight mount, the mounting for the left air tube has broken off (air tube is held in place by two self-tappers) and two of mounts for the screws that hold the seat panels together are a bit cracked. Nothing major considering the age and mileage.

I've made quite a large order with tyga, a thumbs up for them for customer service too, I realised after I'd placed the order that they stocked the clock back for 1/3 of the UK price but with postage it wasn't worth it by itself, a quick email and they sent me an invoice for just the clock back and they'll add it to the main order. :D

No idea how someone did it, the rest of the subframe is dead straight and no other signs of damage apart from clocks and subframe.

Then we went out on NC35#1 and the RC24 sunday so nothing got done.

I quite like that yellow, it looks as if the original owner was trying to replace the white but never finished off the rear?

If the rear was put back to stock but with yellow instead of white I reckon that'd look real nice.

We have the rear original plastics (also painted yellow) but a few lugs were broken.

Now I have some intact plastics I'll be able to make a mold of the lugs and recreate them so the original plastics can go back on.

Slightly annoyingly the subframe I put on there is missing the bracket for the seat lock but I have a spare which does.

I was also thinking of getting some black, red and blue vinyl and recreating the graphics for the single seat.

Well today I finished off NC35#4 ('Jane' ), service kit arrived yesterday so fresh oil/air filters, sparkplugs and oil were duly fitted along with a new choke cable and rear tank rubber.

Clean, lube and adjust the chain and off for a short spin down and up the service road.

Went great but handled like a bag of nails, took it back and put some air into the tyres (they were 14.5psi front, 16psi rear) and tried again. This time it felt as it should! :)

I took a few pics of it anyway, I'll upload them and post them in a bit.

You know I only just realised this last week (hell we've only had the bike 3 years) but it's missing the 'HONDA' off the bottom of the fairing!

Interestingly the new (Honda) filter is much smaller than the old (Honda) one
