and neo it was nearly falling out mate but think there all ouk i use finger and tip of finger on complete turn thanks again

the oil overflow will be due to the fuel leaking into it. dropping the oil and changing it would be the best idea - unless you can be sure there is not too much petrol in there.

think i put to much oil in as ive drained a bit of oil out and it did not smell of petrol will post update

right sorry i havent updated but trying to work 3 jobs and work on bike is a nightmare
right as of now still firing on all 4
tap still broke but getting replacement
carbs are sound
no oil leaking from sump
no petrol in oil
no oil on down pipes
still blowing a little white smoke but getting less and less
got a sump very cheap made up with that
all so i know u said not to change engine but come across a engine for nc24 that has been compleatly striped down polished and race tunned by a fella that dose track bikes so very tempted by that he also has a vast amount of other spares for my nc24 as well so made up i found him
