Thanks guys, me and richard put alot of thought into it, its great to get such good reviews. we also cant belive how much of a difference these made. if you like this you will prob also like the uprated forktops we have made for rick

What are the benefits of doing this?
Has anyone got a 'how to' guide on fitting this kit?
And a list of all the parts required would be grand so I can get an up to date pricing on this conversion.

It basically lets the motor rev more freely, almost as good as removing it altogether, ie total loss

You can use the rotor and stator from a gsxr k5 - k7, K7 setup being the lightest.

im not sure if rick has done a fitting guide for them yet, i know a number of people had them. when i fitted the prototype to my bike it was pretty straight forward, you really need a second person to help you when getting the cover in place as the rotor pulls the cover out of you hand due to the magnet being so strong.

i bought one of these recently from Rick and i would also recomend one! don't worry about no guide as this is quite simple to swap and Rick is more than willing to guide you through it from a email or phone call.

the most trouble i had was swapping over the rubber gromit, but i got over that by warming the rubber up with hot water to take it off the rvf. Then using a drill bit to open the hole to accomodate the gsxr (thicker) wiring, then pushing the wiring behind the drill bit.

You seem to be using the original cover, no adapter necessary?

Yes, I got one of the "original" G-Force produced adapter kits that bolt onto the insode of the original cover

lol - sorry, posted the wrong pic anyways..ahem.

Basically the adapter plate fits into the cover and you drill it to bolt to the cover. Simple.

The Rick O/Dave C24 created ones are in one piece.
