Ok so half a day on it today and good progress has been made
changed tank over for nice one, nose cone fitted, chain and sprockets replaced, perfect job on the hard link !. stripped and cleaned rear caliper, and fitted all new seat unit.
still plenty to do, giffs got some oe hangers fitted with metal non slippy pegs, and a set of pillion pegs to replace the bling bling gold innit.
ok so it will need going round and tightening up before riding, but its almost there. starts and runs well. need to replace the rectifier plug (where do i find one of those ?) possibly get the rear caliper refurbed as the seals are rough, get some OE headlamp bulbs, fit mirrors and fit airtubes (is there a rubber seal at the bottom of the airtubes to grip the plastic cover ?) clean and fit all lowers and mids and V panel.
i reckon another days work messing about and checking everything should see it done easy. nice to know every nut and bolt on this bike and know nothings bodged or rounded or hammered. rare for an early example too.
so was i right ? white wheels on a RR RVF ? they just work dont they ?

Paul, great progress made on that RR of yours! I have tossed with the idea of white wheels, I like it!
