Sorry for being such a lazy SOB...been way busy getting the new house up and running lately. Found the time to fabricate a new end can, at least. The carbon sleeve is from fleabay, but the rest is ofmy own design. Will corrrect the angle of the exhaust, and make a carbon hanger to fit.

The tank cover and seat will also be properly joined to a single unit, once I get the time.

but why bother with the gsxr generator, why not total loss?

Well, the generator is mostly for getting rid of the inconvenience of having to recharge the battery between sessions at the track, but also to be somewhat more prepared for a possible street-going version of the RVF if I feel like it someday.

Mind, the bike will use an electrical water pump, a fuel pump and the button starter, so a little juice won't hurt!

On another note, an interest has been expressed about having more of this seat unit made up, and I'd like to know if there are others on here who'd want one before I start stocking up on fibre mat etc. Not cheap, but guaranteed light weight, stiff, well made and pretty much unique.

I'm interested. Please specify 'Not cheap' and how much fuel it will take?

The fuel cell will be finished in a few days now. I haven't taken any measurement of how much fuel it'll hold, but my guess is around 6-7 litres. The cardboard pieces for the mock-up are well taken care of, for possible duplication in the future. Pics hopefully on monday.

That's looking amazing mate, must have cost a canny penny so far.
How did you fit the cbr yokes to the nc frame?

Well, I replaced the std CBR stem with a custom one and voila! put it all back on. Requires the use of a lathe.
