HUH?

you only balance the carbs by doing the screws on the butterflies nothing else brother.

ps nice looking mito i recognise them panels :D

ah right! but how do you know if the airscrews are all exactaly the same out? i mean you can seat them and turn them to the desired outageeeee .....(lol)

but one carb might not be getting exact same amount due to a dodgey airscrew or not spot on.....not the butterflsy?? or are the butterflys for this fine tune??

i watched a you tube vid and the balencer tool looks easy enough but in my head, im thinking the pilot airscrews dont seem so accuarte for tuning then.

and yeah cheers ricky lad, lloookk good dont they :peace:

does anyone else understand what i mean by this^^ or have i got it all wrong :$ lol

i remember went seating my airscrews and turning them in for first time they all seemed slightly differant amounts to seat them, then when i turned them all out 2 turns, all the screw lines faced diff ways to each other, even the reverse onse to each other........... im just thinking out load really but just for exaggerated terms lets say 3 carbs where set at 2 turns out and 1 was slightly under 2 full turns, that would give that carb a slightly weaker idel no on the balencer kit or atleast just in therory going through the pilot circet.

you could then in theory adjust your butterflys on that carb to compensate right, but say if they were all in sync in first place and it was just the slight turn of the airscrew that was at fault youd then be compensating by adjusting the already correct butterfly to gain that extra vacum............... have i lost you all yet lol

i know on my 2t my airscrew is very sensitive to adjustment see, is that not the case on the vfr!?

is it, set the screws at 2 out.then balence the flys with the carb balencer tool gauge and thats that.......
