Just be aware of the limits of using carbon especially if its structural as apposed to a simple cover, you have limited temperature with epoxies so you need to figure out how hot its likely to run and work this in to get the correct resin for the job.

Out of interest what method are you using to produce the carbon part, infusion, pre peg etc, having cnc you could have machined the mould directly from ally.

I have experience with this it is not the first dry clutch cover I have made out of carbon :)

sorry I have been a bit slack on updating this I'm finding hard to motivate myself to do anything to the bike at the moment
anyway my 17 inch wheel conversion



and my self supporting carbon fibre seat unit, this is from a 500 gp bike (not sure which one)
it has no sub frame at all I just had to weld a couple of lugs on the frame.

Watching this with keen eyes, what a lovely idea and project.

I would think twice about using the HRC logo though, it might get you into legal issues later (maybe not now, but way down the roads, once you've made a name for yourself). I know you are still in Uni I'd suggest you put your future company name on it. Think of one and bet on it! :)
