Re: Changed needles, drilled slides - won't start!
Bikes done fellas. I cannot thank you all enough for the ideas and solutions. It was the plugs in the end, I got a gas burner and burnt all the crap off them and the bike started up straight away. So whoever said plugs was the winner. As for the revving like crap that's sorted too. I managed to balance the carbs doing a bench sync and the dials all read up 100% even so maybe I found a new way to balance carbs without the dials! I removed the balancing kit, added new blanking screws and washers to keep it all air tight. Changed some of the carb rubber clamps and stuck the carbs on nice and deep, fastened them up nice and tight, all fired up 1st time and no revving issue. Took it for a spin and with the slides and needles it flys! Much better now with the modifications. 100% recommend the needles to anybody looking to get them. Very happy chap. Cheers again!
