Jetblack just booked on for both days too through the website, doesn't know what group he's in though.
Edit to add: he's paid up but it didn't ask for his bike/group. No ones answering the phone.

He's in novice for both days.
I think I may move to novice for the Saturday. I've not done that much track time!

Totally up to you on which group you go in, but reckon you should be ok with the rest of us in the trouser firework group mate
There is a fair spread of pace anyway, so no worries.
I recall being a tad nervous for my debut at the 2013 meet, but all was fine. Just take it easy until you learn the circuit - said from he on the grass on first session!
There was lots of encouragement from the 400GB lot out on track.

My other ride is another 400, Woohoo!... Doh

You definitely want to be with the 400 group, you'll regret it if not.
Like crm says there's a real mix of bikes and abilities, people on tdr250s to super quick lc specials.
I run a naked bandit so start to flap on the wind about 80 its great being out with mates on similar equipment.

There was a couple of fast boys out on RS and TZ 250's which I think were a bit too quick for the group. Apart from that it was a great bunch.

You will need a loud bike to fail noise.
You will also get overtaken by Mark on no.9, deceptively quick on a bike!

Fair does.
Also I presume we'll be in the middle of the field like 2 years ago? I'll need to sort a genny out by July then
