Yeah, got to agree with the guys - that is a lovely looking bike. Not keen on the carbon overload in the cockpit but that is just me..

MM, could you do me a favour and measure the size of the can bracket or the cans rather ,your's looks a bitter better made than the waffer thin thing i have ATM,if our cans are the same size around maybe i could hassle Mercury into getting me one ....

Cans are 87mm diameter. The bracket can be adjusted a few mm either way for different sized cans. Hope this helps.

Very, very nice bike. Seeing examples like this makes me wish I'd never parted with my own RVF, considering the things I've been able to do with my '30.

Can you ever finish the mods on a bike. I tell myself it's finished but i think of stuff that needs changing or would look better. Engine is running sweet as a nut at the moment so engine wise it is going to stay fairly stock (I Did not buy it for speed). Magteks are on shopping list along with quick action throttle and i may try a new front end sometime. It's at a stage where i am happy with it. Money is short at the mo so other upgrades are on hold.

+1 to a modded bike is never finished, only the owners wallet

front end wise, why? from what i hear the rvf front end it bloody good, only upgrade i can think of would be ducati with a riley kit, most people upgrade front end to USD for looks but you've already got USD

quick action throttle wise, try and get a MC21 throttle, iv just got a complete one with throttle cables for £10 off PB forum from a bloke who upgraded his nsr, still waiting but il let you know how i get on with it on the road

New front end is only a thought at the moment and probably will not happen once i have thought about it properly, worked out expenses, problems etc. Most likely just get mine nitrided.
