Did u only adjust the spacer on 1 side?

I have just measured the difference with standard nc35 spacers (I assume the 30 & 35 spacers are the same) and I get 3.5mm to 4mm difference. This would tally with Ricks comment about the centre to centre measurement being 4mm narrower on the nc.
Am I right in thinking that to keep the wheel centred the difference needs to be halved and that amount taken from each spacer??

I didn't remember exactly spacers sizes, but as i remember the difference is something like 5mm.
the spacer fit into the wheel so you can only see a part of it when it's fitted.
i can not unmount my front wheel i have a race this week end so next week.

NC30 and NC35 front wheel spacers are not the same - the VFR uses 15mm & 22mm, the RVF 21mm & 28mm

So will the difference (4mm) need to be halved and that amount taken from each side?
Sorry if this seems a dumb question, but with the spacers not being equal just want to check?
If 2mm off each spacer is correct (for an nc35 fork and wheel spacer setup) how much would a pair of captive spacers be please Rick?

I have been emailing a guy from the IOM that has done this and is running the 675 forks. he sent me the following measurements for his forks he has a 30 like me rather than a 35 so the following will be for the 30 spacers.

hi sorry slow reply had to go on holiday lol here are the 675 fork measurements attached.

Fork length from top to centreline of wheel spindle =

675 forks = 715 mm
nc30 forks = 698 mm

wheel spacer needed 24 mm. std short one used on other side

2mm taken off caliper mounting face to suit smaller disc

Jeff, assemble the whole front end including calipers with pads minus any spacers,
you can then centralize the wheel,you can now measure the space between fork leg and wheel bearing,
To determine the length of spacer needed.

i've just cut my front pads with dremel instead of touching calipers.

Theres always the option to fit rc30 discs then space the caliper out to suit

I'll be doing the same rather than modifying the 675 caliper mounting faces as then the forks still have resale value to a triumph 675 owner.

Tried this when i got home and BANG job jobbed
It took a while as my front paddock stand wouldn't hold the front end up very well but i got the following results
As you are sat on the bike;
Right hand side spacer = 25mm
Left hand side spacer = 20mm

This is for RVF Yokes, 675 forks, 675 spindle, and NC23 front wheel.

@ Rick, could you let me know a cost of getting a set of captive spacers made to 25mm and 20mm please?
