Fair one M1KE.
Finally the carbs are sorted, apart from a minor compression issue with one of the cylinders, but that can be sorted no problem....so I'm told.
However, the issue now lies with the CDI unit. I'm not entirley sure what's wrong with it yet as it hasn't been taken apart yet. I read Ripzays thread about his CDI which only had a blown transformer (if my memory serves me) so I'm sincerely hoping mine is the same.

There is more than just orings that need replaced most times usually you will need a needle and a fuel block oring and maybe a float bowl seal these bike are old if you like to continually piss with your carb then go about it the cheap way if you want to not be aggravated by in anymore then spend the money get the right parts...this is a common problem for these bikes....

I'm thinking about selling my bike now. It's been off the road more than I've been able to ride it. It is supposed to be my only mode of transport and I can't afford to buy another bike, other wise I would, because I think it's a wicked bike.
I think the only thing left is the CDI unit to get fixed but, to be honest I've lost patience with it because I can't afford to keep doing this and I really don't know if there is anything more to do.

The above website is for a company I get all of my O rings from for work. They stock all common sizes of o rings in imperial and metric sizes. Minimum order is £10 + VAT and if memory serves they charge £3.50 to post them. They definatly sell all the sizes you need for gixxer carbs as thats where I got mine from. They do all of them in viton too.
hope that helps someone.
