Just goes to show the big difference between the theory (from reading a few books on the subject) and practice (from people who actually do it for a living)!

Yes, same fella. He is living on the Isle of Man, and I believe he is still tuning engines today.

yeh, and such a big mistake aswell (just joking with you), they did a article on slick in auperbike mag a while back, quite interesting

I've ridden a slick tuned NC30 and it (apart from the brakes which were on that occasion feeling a little wooden) was most ace.
In fact here we go, any excuse for a photo. :)

I have one with both wheels off the ground at that same place...wheelies are so old skool
The rear whel is off the ground so much that you could easily fit 2 rizlas in the gap
