Just found this:
http://www.carolenash.com/2011/03/dayti ... -answered/

So basically, I need a horn, brake light and reflector to use the bike on the road, together with a daytime MOT. and a licence plate, and valid tax disc / Insurance obviously.

Handy! Cheers for that Timmon

Check with the garage that's doing the MOT first as I haven't come across 2 garages yet that share the same thoughts about the so called daytime mot. It's a massive grey area but just make sure the rest of the bike is in A1 condition because you will get pulled and once they realise your legal will then proceed to go through your bike with fine toothcomb .

Agree with DM. Took my daytime only NC to one garage and they laughed as said no way (it was only missing 1 headlamp and rear brake light switch.)
The next garage said it was perfect and laughed when I said another garage turned me down.

Best call your local bay and get their 'rules'

Yep the place i use dont want to see any lights at all for a daytime cert, just a horn. All i do is tape up the rear light then rip it off when i leave, riding without a brake light is one step to far IMO

I used to work at the garage that will be doing the test, So hopefully there shouldn't be a problem.
I agree with you DM, riding without a brake light is too far. its bad enough without indicators, not to mention mirrors!

Fitted the standard pegs for now, much better :-)

Once I have the fairings sorted (big expense) I shall be 'HRC'ing' the carbs and tray :sshh: Just incase I decide to put it on the road, and do some track days ;)

Reservoirs, Clip ons and front pads came yesterday, so I banged the on. I'm going to have to make up a bracket for the front reservoir as currently it will hit the fairing.

Starting to look a bit more like a bike now :-)
