Really? How do you test for that?

I would like, ideally, to upgrade to the HRC CDi too.

Yeah that's what my bike was like when I first got it.

I can't really remember how I did it.

An awesome guy on here, username magg, is a whizz with electrickery and basically did all the thinking for me.

Disconnect one of the battery terminals and put a current meter in series to measure the draw. I wouldn't have thought that there should be any drain at all when the bike is off. Modern cars loaded with electronics might draw a few tens of milliamps.
