HEL Rear Brake Line - Too Long?

i spoke to my JT sprocket distributer, he said the rear is fitted step facing out on these.

is there any evident writing anywhere that says otherwise!? just to clear this up....

I'll second this as It's my sprocket that has started this... Luckily it's only on loosely to make me feel like i've done more to the bike :grin: but it would be nice to know which way the sprocket goes before i put the chain on.
I did run it back in 2008 they way it is now, but will gladly flip it if that is the correct way.

If you sit that sprocket next to the original, you will see it is the same.

The original fits with machined shoulder inwards.
I did ask Rick Oliver last year to check which way is correct.
