I have just got my fairing back from ROADRASH PAINTWORK in Leighton Buzzard, i spoke to john on the 14th march about painting my fairings , he said just send them to me and send an email of what scheme you want and some pics and the job will be complete in 12-14 days and he would post them back to me.
I sent fairings on the march 20th.
So a month passed and nothing, no confirmation he had even got my fairing, tried to phone him but got constant answerphone, left messages but no reply, then after a few days he rang me to tell me he will get on with them and they wont take long.
So i waited, another month passed ( now 8 weeks from when i sent them off) , went through it all again leaving messages but no reply, then i got a text saying he had flu and might be back at work the following week, would update me on friday, update never came.
Another 3 weeks pass, then i get a text saying, Sorry for the delay i can no longer paint your panels due to reasons beyond my conrtol, i will get them sent back to you asap.
Another week passes and nothing ( phoned/text him to say i wanted a tracking number and which courier he had used, but again no reply ).
I then get a text saying the office staff would have sent the fairing by royal mail but he would go to the workshop and check. but the fairing had not been sent.
Another week passes (now been 13 week) and my fairing is back with me, still not painted and in a worse state than i sent it in ( my genuine type 6 excellent condition nose cone has been snapped where the mirror mounts, they had packed them very poorly and to top it off they didnt even bother to tape the box up) :(

So there you go, it cost me £45 to send panels to him a 13 week wait and now i have unpainted damaged panels.
have learnt my lesson the hard way. (Stay local)

Oh forgot to say i DO NOT recommend ROADRASH PAINTWORK on my experience.

That's shit. It's shocking what some of these companies try to get away with.

Blimey. That's a shock as Jon painted both my bikes and was very good. He is always very busy and doesn't sat No when he should do. Jimlad sorry you had a bad experience from him, maybe things have changed somewhere since I used him a few years ago.
