Yes, I couldnt bring myself to do that, did a trade with tlnut and he made use of the original tank.

Re: Reborn NC30
Ok, not done much lately as been busy riding as much as I can but decided she needed a bit of bling...
Looking a bit weathered...

Had a spare one knocking about so got it powder coated...

Quick and easy swap...

Then added a badge I rubbed down and painted the Honda logo, a quick spray with some laquer...

Rubbed some spare panels down ready for paint later, need to fix a few cracks here and there 1st

That's about it for now

Newly powder coated wheel and new rubber fitted

An easy mornings work, all back together

Got the bobbins from a really helpful guy on Ebay, user name Crashbobbins, he didn't have any at the time but I asked for them in white and he posted both sets out for about £48, great guy to deal with

Re: Reborn NC30
Just a quick suggestion / warning, the guy who had my bike before me had crash bobbins on the bike and when he fell it actually broke the crash bobbin mounting point on the block (I'm going to try and grind it and make it look neat again ... dont want to weld on the block). I have read up on the internet about crash bobbins and there seems to be two schools of thought... 1) it protects your fairing etc but 2) it can cause the bike to hook when its sliding and start fliping (the counter argument here is that it slides on the fairings and save everything else. Either way I think they look nice... pity about my block though
- I was thinking that is may make sense to have a shaft that runs straight across the front of the block so that they one crash bobbin mounting point supports the other one (reduces the twist effect on the one) and hopefully the block will survive
