i'd like to compare the NC24 ones to a genuine HRC slide if anyone has one
I had two sets, I now only have one as Tony has the other. Both sets came from full HRC carbs so I also have two sets of HRC stacks but I'm being a hoarding mofo and hanging on to them

Right back to the job, the UK spec carbs i fitted run better yet upon checking the pipes temps the rear left (no.1??) was taking longer than the rest to warm up and the left can (rears) felt like it was firing on just one with my hand over the end compared to the right can which was noticably smoother, i wouldnt say it was not firing at all but definatly not all the time.
Stripped, cleaned, checked and reset my carbs, air screw rubbers all present and float hights bang on, also fitted the HRC slides while i was at it

Fitted these and although better than before its still not firing right on that rear left cylinder, With my hands over the can exit the right (fronts) can gets warm pretty quick was as the left takes forever
Checked spark, ok
Checked fuel, ok
Changed coils, no difference
I spose new plugs wont hurt, they've got bugger all miles on them but have been sitting around for some time.

Compression test compared to at least 1 other cylinder, and I/L valve clearances.

New plugs made no difference not that i really expected them to. No. 1 cylinder is definatly firing as if you remove the connection to the coil it becomes clearly worse so i think your right dave it can only be engine related now
