Never found any difference.

HRC never bothered to fit it on their RVF750 F1 factory endurance and RC30 superbike racers, [up to 1993] or the RC45 type RVF750 superbike spec endurance and superbike racers [from 1994]

Plus it looks pretty
So in truth its not going to benefit 99 percent of owners?
But then again how many things do we do that won't *actually* benefit us or our bikes? Fancy paintjobs, tiny bits of Ti, poncy top yokes and aly screen braces etc ;)

When you brake with a conventional set up the torque reaction tends to lift the rear wheel off the ground. The RC30 linkage reverses the torque reaction to impart pressure on the swing arm under braking forcing greater contact of the tyre with the ground. Having used one on an NC30 for over 10 years I would not consider it to be 'trick' or 'gimmicky'. It's almost impossible to lock the the back up even in the wet. You can confidently trail brake into corners as well to adjust your line. I certainly wouldn't remove mine.
Cheers, I haven't been able to find much info at all about it, so was just giving a really really dumbed down version from what I'd read  Sounds like a really good thing to have, I've locked up while braking on a roundabout twice now, but was REALLY going for it the second time, it may well be of benefit to me when I start doing trackdays then

I have good news, my mates dad has recovered most of the use of his wrist after breaking it, so can go back to work and will machine me the spacers required to fit, I'm supposed to be going over with all the bits I've accumulated so far, and will see if he can have a technical drawing made so that the replica parts can be machined, will hopefully have it ready to go soon
