Presume you have checked the basics - cable adjustment, idle screw adjustment?

for sure mate, those where the first to be checked. idel adjustment is as far out as poss, so the throttle seat screw dosnt even touch it. cable does stick some but its a naked bike and i can see that it returns the pully back to its closed position.checked the choke is closing fully on the carbs too,again the bike is naked so i have a great veiw of whats going on. iv tryed a vein attempt to feel for throttle slides closing by holding my finger on the carb side and opening and closing the throttle,so you feel that little click/shock through your finger tip, can feel it seating inside when the engine is OFF. im just a little lost now mate tbh,common scence is telling maybe my carb slide diaphrame is torn or a similar issuse inside the carb, i have to pull carbs off to clean them anyways now but if i can sort the problem with them remaining on id be one happy son of bi***
i just cant think what else could cause the high idel.

sold both the gsx 750 today and the cb350 :)
on the look out for a cb of some sorts, got my eye on a 250 right now, if anyone has somin tucked away in their shed up for grabs, PM me :)

broke even on parts and work.
