That's a private stretch of road isn't it? ;) Or your speedo over reads massively doesn't it? ;) ;)

It is actually a private road behind a load of supermarkets, they cone it off on sundays as the chavs meet up for something called 'Nottz Strip' where 17 year olds meet up at McDonalds in their blinged up saxo's and corsas nearby.

So yes it was private road, whether I was meant to be there or not - another question altogether :P

Oh I forgot to mention; there wasn't even a pissing gasket between the engine and the clutch cover! Nothing at all! The bike has definitely been owned by a serious cowboy, I think it was the chavvy lad who had it before me as he seemed a bit clueless and his dad did all the work because 'he was good with bikes'. I met them both and neither seemed like you'd want them near your bike...

Nevermind, it's kind of like going to the RSPCA and getting a poor animal that's been abused by its previous owners.

Jobs that are pending now; rear brake is shit, balance carbs - few other little bits.

Feel like I'm getting somewhere now :D

Pitch black road, flash my headlights - bike cuts out. Got it started again and it wouldn't idle, had to ride it home without stopping - anyone want to chime in what it might be? Idle'd fine when I got home again, but then cut off when I flashed full beams :/

Not looked in to the electrical weird problem yet as it hasn't done it again, but when I get some cash together I'll definitely be swapping out the reg/rec for an R6 one for peace of mind.

Anyway, posty brought me some goodies today :) Won a set of 5x indicators off of eBay, four are in good shape, one is a bit melted from the exhaust. After a bit of snipping, cutting, taping and crimping, I think the bike looks 10x better - much more original than the tacky pieces of carbon imitation shit that were on before. Picked the indicators up for £20 with postage which ain't bad as they often go for £10-£15 each!
