I know what you mean, I have been trying to do that but thought the boots might end up marking the pipes, so went down this route. They're only clamped on so could be easily removed if I change my mind, but I think they look ok. :grin:

Was in the order from V4Chris including lowers and heatshield, around £30 I think, the pair. I made up the brackets while doing my welding course! :up:

Poor photo, but carbon heat shield now in place. Could possibly do with a little mod here and there due to the exhaust, but it looks good. :grin:

It will be lowers with intergrated V piece. :up: Really looking forward to getting them sorted.
