Congrats, that looks like a tidy example!

Never say never indeed! I still long after another RGV250, even though I said to myself I wouldn't get another "time bomb" after getting an NC!

Well i took the NSR for its mot today and it was the first ride i have had on it too.
Passed its MOT just fine, but the riding experience took me a bit by shock.
Never owned a 28 before, had a 21R back in 1994/5 and since then owned a rook of 3xv's and a VJ22 and a VJ23. now clearly there the 23 was the superior bike, great build quality, lovely feel to ride, punchy motor etc etc

well the 28 was a surprise

it actually pulls away with ease and apart from the clutch making a racket below 4k its very smooth and effortless. easy to ride and make progress. not sure if its as quick as the 30 or 35 but still a great bike. when thrashed from the lights its off like a shot, sure feels quick even if the speedo says not.
Handling on wet greasy roads was sure footed even with aged old BT090's - maybe they will come back to life with a scrub in on a warm day. suspension is soft and forgiving however it prob wasnt designed for 15 stone fatty. brakes are savage. really sharp and work well. dashboards shite, utterly fucking useless. it diesnt help with mine being dull as fuck, but really is garbage.
apart from that everything works ok.

So i may stick with it for a bit standard before it put the Tyga pipes on. Thanks to John for his advice with fueling and setup (expect more questions) but if thats 40bhp then it makes the most of it for sure. if i can get 50 odd from it with ease, and keep some low down punch then this is going to be on par with the 400 i suspect.
