Decided to get properly stuck into it on the underneath of the bike today, and i was greeted with this lovely looking radiator

Got all the grot off and masked up ready to be sprayed tomorrow, luckily the top rad is in great condition.

The centre of the front disc's dont look much better so iv rubbed them all down and cleaned them up. im now spendin the rest of the night masking them up.

I need some advice tho as my fork legs a quite badly pitted and i dont want to rebuild them and them just destroy some new seal's, know what to do.

repair,replace , upgrade? :|

Yeah bottom rads take a hammering

where is the pitting on the forks is it within the travel of the forks?? What i would do id get them off the bike and get some very fine emery cloth and rub over the pitting if its not tto bad they will be fine. Then replace the fork oil and mudguard brackets. And if needed give the lowers a spray or rub them down and polish for a silver finish!!

iv already got some new springs for the forks and the legs will be getting powdercoated when the wheels are done , theres quite alot of it and it starts around halfway up the travel area.

Yeah I did that once, had to sit down for a while!

Kris

Full systems are around, you just need to hunt them down, very rarely are they on eBay!
