I did test the diaphragm valve on the tank, it work fine. I don't know if that would answer your question?!?

It filled a 2 litre container in seconds (and some of my garage floor).

If the only problem was a hot exhaust, I would probably dismiss it, but as there is the flat spotting problem it makes me think there is more to it!

It only happens if your at full throttle for a while then?

Does the temp gauge go up or down when running at full throttle?

Temp gauge doesn't really move that much to be honest!
