I rode at Goodwood as soon as my brand new one was run in, there were lots of 30's being tracked dayed then.

Neo. i had left the RC over in wales for a few months over at my mums place, and needed to get it back to cheshire to take for test. it was around jan / feb a few years ago, it had been snowing in wales, so i rode the NC30 over there, and brought the RC30 back, there was snow at the sides of the roads with a clear gritted route through over the top of mold, then clear all the way back to cheshire with gritted and filthy roads.
by the time i got it home it was hanging, you could almost hear the salt eating all the alloys, so a quick cold jetwash and clean and to test it went.

i posted that pic on a RC30 owners board, and i got around 4 messages from people,3 saying "respect and its nice to see them used" one said "he felt i didnt deserve to own a Rc30 and it was criminal that i took it out and got it into that state without care or concern" i replied saying he was a goat bothering cissy boy who i bet kept his RC30 wrapped in cotton wool and a little air tight baggy all year around and he kept his owners manuals under the bed in that "special box" under his bed for some late night left handed reading in his bedroom at mummys house.
I then proceeded to send him a few pics of smashed Rc30 bodywork (from the spare bodykit i have) just to see if i could provoke more of a reaction from him lol.

Thread drift and pic whoring it is but it's nice to see the photos of so many superb bikes. I've only ever seen one in NZ and I think that's been sold to Aussie since.
That would have been a nervous ride for me CRM but good on you for not sticking it on a trailer.
Sadly, NZ wages being what they are, an RC constitutes a kings ransom for me. Maybe one day and, if I do get one, I hope I have as much fun riding it as you lucky guys obviously do.

Drifting further on,

I keep my bikes clean and like to see other's do the same.

However, I have no time for the Holier than Thou owners who criticise riders for using their bikes in the way they choose. I respect those who ride, in what ever conditions, and those who do not.
All our 30s were dirty when we got back from the 100 year TT.

A friend, who is one of the keenest enthusiasts I know seldom rides a clean bike.
On Sunday he rode his RC30, then went home to get out his modified RC30, then returnd for his RC45, he has no time for cleaning. One of them is now in my garage for alterations and a clean up.
3 friends have crashed their RC30s on track [1 cracked crankcases] but 2 are still out there, the third awaiting an engine rebuild.
