The lady i spoke too, seemed to think that mabey in a few years if there is enough interest they could run a smaller cc class. if anyone is interested we should all mail the organisers and get them to put the 400's on the list too
:rocks:
:plus: i dont really have the cash or time to take it up seriously at the moment. A NBC 400/250 class would suit me fine. Isnt it a team class? 3 riders and pit crew or something? Go team GB

Id prefer a tunned class obviously but being no budget cup i guess it would have to be stock bikes

Yes your right DM, up to 3 riders and pit crew from what i remember. I dont remember what the tuning restrictions were, from what i remember it is mainly for older bikes, and non racers (non national level) and for the amount of track time you get i think it would be great  If there was enough interest from people on here and other 400 riders, it would be possible to have a few 400GB teams. I am sure there would be at least 4+ people from here interested
It would sure cut the cost too if it were shared between 2 or 3.
Any other riders interested?
(should i do a seperate post for this?)

Thread drift..

I agree, 400s would ave no worries in the NBC - only issue is that they have a megabike class and the 98/99 R1's will be roosting along. I did race my mate on an R1 around Angelesy and I had no drama keeping up.

I am riding a VFR750 - a dude on the PB forum put a wanted ad for a rider...and I was first to check it and go see him and agree to ride his bike.

We'll be getting a kicking as the other bikes in the class are SRAD 750s, Milles and ZXR/YZF etc. No-one else is on a tourer... We have the V4 though. The other rider, Bob, has done 2 trackdays only and so we've discussed not trying to be a hero, 3hrs is a long time.

The 750 is going to inherit NC30 sliders and brakes, subframe and clocks too... It needs to lose weight and gain braking ability. Am looking forwards to it but am scared about riding someone elses bike....am sure it will be reliable and I don't really do crashing so I hope we can finish well.

Thread drift over.

On the TD - who has commited? Seems like choosing the Rock to encourage 33bhp riders to come along has not fished any of these people in? That is a shame....

Inters, hopefully my mate will last longer than the 2nd lap of the first session before deciding to throw his bike down the road and smash his hand up!

@ Chris, I am gutted too mate. I just owe out too much this month to be able to splurge it on the TD.

Let me see wha I can sell and I'll go from there. I would like to get some time on the bike as I have not ridden fast for ages!!

What groups you lot looking at?

of course, If someone wants to give me lots of cash I'll come and play out with Chris and Jeff and we'll represent the 400GB - Oh yes!

Otherwise..let me get some posts up in the sale section..I've got loads of shit to sell...lol
