I reckon its gonna be a long wait for you! Every bike has pro's and con's thats why forums like these start up to help people repair there 20 year old bikes! I think you should buy an allround good condition bike with a bit of history and ride it! Then learn how to make it better. Thats what im doing and to be honest i get just as much pleasure out of fixing problems and uprating things than i do riding.
You might not even like ridng an NC and you would have waisted all that time looking for elusive bargain!!
