What weight is in the GF lid?
Yours is looking good, the GF one is 500g.
Thats great, i'm just thinking now i'm going to need a relay for the pump, i ordered one on ebay but i dont have the right connectors for it. I'll just have a play about with it and try rig something up, any advice on that and where to mount the pump? just on the sub frame?
Big thank you for the help

I'd love an exhaust like that!
What way is yours wired in, do you use a relay?

Mo now has that system. That bike is long gone, i dont think it was wired to a relay but it had a progamable CDI so most likely wired to that.

When I wired my pump into the bike I wired it to the rear coil pack as it meant that when the bike was turned off, the pump wouldn't prime. It also meant that when the kill switch was off, even though the bike was on, it wouldn't prime.

Rite i got the pump wired up to a battery and it pulses steady with fuel flowing, so how does the pump know when to stop, does the relay control this? I put my finger over the outlet and it keeps pumping quite strong.
These are stupid questions for people in the know lol

Don't use the battery as it'll always be primed and you'll not want that (unless you run an isolation switch, but you'll always need to remember to turn it off when not in use). The pump should stop pumping once the carbs bowls are full, but the last thing you'll want it the bike to continue to pump fuel if one of the float valves sticks open and starts emptying your petrol tank into the motor through the pistons.

I should have said i only connected it to a battery, not on the bike.! if i connect it to the coil it looks like it will pump too much fuel for the bike to use unless its a lower voltage?
