Thought I'd resurrect this thread a little bit, after a moving into my first house the bike got a bit neglected for a little while but I'm now finding more time to carry on doing bits and pieces to the bike. Firstly front calipers, I found the front calipers were sticking a little bit so the plan was to completely overhaul them but, I found a set of calipers freshly rebuilt on ebay so bought them instead

Whilst I was at it I resprayed the discs as they looked a little tired,

Got a quote from mail order repairs to respray my fork lowers, whilst he was at it he also rebuilt my forks with me supplying all parts and RO fork kit, so they went from this:

To this:

Would highly recommend his work a good price, quick turnaround & a good job done! Www.mailorderrepairs.co.uk, some of you may have seen some of his work in Practical Sportsbikes. My radiators looked like this:

So I took punt on some of the curved Chinese rads on ebay, just over a week later & a £25 customs charge here they are!

Obviously they won't be the best but for the price you can't really complain, currently that's how my bike stands at the minute, just toying with either putting my tyga system on or a Sansei half system, although the scratches on it are putting me off

Or wether to just leave it with the standard system on.

Little update, top rad fits without any clearance issues which is good as some people have been experiencing the rad cap hitting the top fairing.

Image

Only problem is the threaded hole for the thermoswitch on bottom rad is too small so the switch doesn't fit, trying to find a way around this. In the mean time fitted the forks back on, really like the lighter silver colour!

So I managed to tap out the thermoswitch, so rads fitted and filled with coolant, no leaks! Also cleaned up my radiator fan, gave it some fresh paint and fitted a new plug.

Gave the fairings a clean and polish and re fitted everything.
