you would't have to make any plates for a 35 - just get the blade calipers that were bigger rotors - 1999 or 2000 - When I bought my first set of newer Nissins they were silver and off this bike - too large for the discs I had so I was contemplating getting some 310mm rotors made by Stealth to suit.

I found some super cheap calipers instead and sold my silver ones for more than half what I paid IIRC.. ;)

Hi Jason! The Brembo discs are indeed 305mm in dia, and as the std RVF ones are 296mm, I guess some alteration must be done for these to work well. Calipers need to be moved outwards by 4,5mm, but the offset is the same. Of course, there may be calipers to match straight onto the fork legs. I haven't investigated the matter any further, as I bought them for use on radial forks, on which such alterations are very simple (as long as you're moving them calipers outwards, that is!).

Went down to the garage yesterday to have a look, and it turns out I was slightly wrong; the discs are actually 6,0mm thick.

Ask Michael or Aly, I'm pretty sure they know exactly how to use RC30 discs on an RVF fork!

Cheers/Lasse
