Cool....but still reckon 143 is optimistic unless it has over 70 bhp.

Pics are always good..but as this thread was about NC30 or NC29...then well...we'll always have to differ I guess!! :ugeek:

Similar spec to my trackbike..I have a skimmed head and BEET system, RVF pistons, no stator etc etc...no air filter as the ram air works better without it...a whole lot lighter than a road bike aswell...130 yes....147 no way.

But if it said that on the clock they are generally %10 out so 15 added to 130 gives you 145.

Nice spec for a road bike though I'll give you that.

here is how to post pics....oh and welcome

nice spec fella but my nc30 has a system,FI needles, some jetting changes and a stock filter and has seen 130mph on the road and dyno....you should have saved your pennies and bought an nc30 to go racing on, an nc30 with a skimmed head and BEET system, RVF pistons, no stator etc etc...no air filter as the ram air works better without it...a whole lot lighter than a road bike aswell would see close to 147 ... ;) ;) ;) :peace:

i think i'll start running now ....

but you are right of course everything I have said is bollocks and NC30s suck balls

:dmyspt: in-line4 :poke: i ran a standard filter cut out so just the wire mesh was there but how long would the engine last? so put the k&n back in. i have a sat nav tom tom bike thing be better now clocks? p.s 143 not 147 on the clocks. pp.s didnt think you could skim heads with gear driven cams as it brings the gears closer together.

you can fella but it's not just as easy as it sounds, the gear train as to be skimmed or shimmed up so everything runs with clearance again.
