None of the fairing holes are drilled large enough to take the standard (or aftermarket) step shouldered bolts. If you want to use these you will need to open up the holes, or alternatively, just use some non stepped flat headed bolts.
exactly my findings , i opted for a probolt fairing kit for the nc30 so the bolts are not stepped so didnt have this prob but i would of had i used my original bolts,
i did use the seat joining clips i just drilled the extra hole as the one pre drilled was in the right place for one side of the clip, and the seat lock was so tight in the hole i doesnt twist with the key , altho i will do what you have done just incase
as i said i made both seat holes a tad bigger to fit the seat a bit better , mine were way off,
the miss alignment for the the nose and mids i was lucky as mine were black at this area so got away with the plastic push pin type fastner in black so hardly notices,
still i think NGneer yours look great , love the roths sceme , as you say your not gunna get a spot on fit or quality for the cash , but they look fine for the cash , its a trade off im happy with

just finished putting a set on will get pics on next week, spent ages trying to get good alignment with nose cone and mids on mine had a similar gap on r/h as shown above tried changing clock mount and h brace as i suspected they where out of alignment but got same result dammit , with a bit of fettling got gap closed by elongating holes in lower r/h fairing to get mid to line up better . suspect a lot of these fairings are coming from maybe one master mould through various sellers who paint them as a few seem to have the same issues

anyhows got there bolted up without putting any strain on panels it was my intention to get them fitted without having to put a fixing between the mids and top cowl but failed in that respect
for fixing panels together figured s/s was a bit ott as lugs are flimsy so got m6 plastic fittings and nylon washers to join seat unt and lowers together. its a bit like bomb disposal fitting them as they seem to be heavily painted/lacquered and as growler said maybe not prepd with a plastic primer first who knows , cannot help thinking that by autumn they will only be fit for the bin, however as has been said before reckon there ok for the money and short term.

The best seller i have found without as many negative feedback is "gtbidshop"

have fun fitting them up when they arrive take your time and you should get a good fit with a bit of patience although it will never be as good as honda panels trust me , have noticed a few kits from different sellers have the same issues could be one place is moulding them and selling them onto others who paint them up then sell em
mine are only a stop gap picked up a rwb set off honda bodykit inc tank so when that gets freshened up the chinese stuff will be removed having done its job short term . still at 300 delivered would say there good value .

ditch the shitty screen they send with it and use a thicker honda or aftermarket one to give the top cowl a bit more rigid strength as its pretty thin round mirror mounts screen brace area have fun.
