WD40 gets behind it. I was under the impression parafin is less penetrative than the solvents in WD40. My chains on 26,000km and still as good as new.

Ive always used parafin then wiped the chain down and allowed to dry when cleaning the chain. I probably do it 2 or 3 times a season, thats all. I also use the Wurth chain spray but use a little after Ive been out. This way it sets and doesnt come off next time you go out.

Ive spoken to loads of people over the years and used many different products and everyone seems to have their own opinionsas to which is the best. This debate could drag on forever......

Also if you get loads flinging off, you're using too much and wasting your hard earned.
