i'd say too rich so would go back down on the main jet sizes. Leave the airfilter well alone ;)

got to agree, or remove the shims on the needles and put the stock filter back in anyway

hey guys
i remove air filter is run better
but in idle is irregular apparently ineed carb balancing

If removing the air filter made it run a lot better - then you need to fix the cause of the problem - which is main jets that are too large.

If it idled OK with filter, fit that and get the main jets changed for smaller ones - probably 115/118 - Let's see a picture of the bike, sounds nice!

were originally jet 115f and 118

So how did it run before you changed the exhaust? or did you change it, and then also change the carb jets?

Alright that bike! Needs a wash though eh!!

hey guys ive checked everything and am still having the same problems as per this post viewtopic.php?f=24&t=40192. thought it was the reg/rec, but now im thinkin the same think i did at first. im sure its running lean cause the jets r too small, tp recap i got an end can and done the carb mods from here with 110 jets all round, im in S.A where its hot, surely the jets r too small, it ran strong with the std pipe with 115/118
