I know its slightly off topic, but how did the FCR's work when you had them on the bike?

In the middle the fcr´s don´t work very good, but over 9000 rpm they work brilliant.kostritzer wrote:I know its slightly off topic, but how did the FCR's work when you had them on the bike?

I see, were you using 32's or 33's? was peak power a lot better than the CV carbs everything else being the same?
I always thought the main advantage with FCR's was better throttle response, I wonder why the midrange power was not so good.

Re: RVF400, race bike, never ending story
Today i had some time to put my bike on a dyno. First we have to find all basics for the fuelinjection and
after an hour we have 65,35 ps at the back wheel. For an hour it was good but in the next few weeks i must
spent a lot of time on a dyno. The first step is done.

At the end of the dynorun the gasket of the cam sensor was leaking. Now we need a better one before we test again. A lot of work.

Michael, that is a good start off with your engine and that spec. Keep it going

65 on the first run is bloody good considering this is all new and a massive learning curve for you michael. I look forward to the next test

Michael,
As I saw from Durbahn site the camshaft sensor done inside of the engine head. Correct ?
