Headstock roller bearings done....what a fucking nightmare of a job getting the bearings onto the stem!!!

And now to fit this little beauty, as I said earlier in the thread the shift lights on the dash are useless so I got this from mr Oliver.



Made a little carbon bracket which mounted behind the dash on one of the dash mounting bolts.



Oh and straightened the dash while I had it all apart...shift light in situ.



It's quite bright...

No problem. i tried and tried and tried to get it to work. It will work for a while but eventually it will fail.

I like that dash. Very cool.

How much was that shift light? I fancy one for my nc23 road/race bike, although after repairing my cordona quickshifter I don't think it would be too difficult to make one, the bike looks awsome btw!

about £65 I think, from Rick Oliver just connects to the coil.

Here we have the modified NSR rad with about an extra 30% cooling capacity you can see where the inlet and out lets we're swapped and also where the overflow spout was moved and what a cracking job.





Also got my 38 tooth sprocket today and finally have a day off tomorrow so it's being spent in the shed making brackets for the bellypan, making brackets, fitting and testing the new rad and fitting the new sprocket, then it's bodywork on and it's ready for anglesea!!

Got most of the above done and I'm pretty confident there is enough clearence but just need to use a compression strap to wind the forks down to make sure it won't touch the tyre, maki g the brackets was a right pain but it's done now.





Still need to do the bellypan Brackets ...

However spangly bitch has come a bit further and now has a fully fitted rear shock and linkage.

So after the charging issue I had at anglesea I decided instead of trying to find the issue to get rid of the mini battery and in fact all of the charging system, flywheel and stator lol

So that's what I done did, less engine braking, slightly less weight, faster spin up and a couple of BHP....WIN!

Bike is all back together, just needs a good wash and the fairings putting back on and I'm good for Donington!

also replaced the fuel pump as the wiring was about fucked and tidied the wiring under the tank....and fucked the reg rect off as well obviously.

its looking good mate, The best thing to do is drop all the charging system, saves a shit load of weight.
