Well - i just got back.
What an amazing day. It was a pleasure to meet loads of new faces, and of course the old faces too.
I had a great time and thank you all for coming and making it such a memorable day.
Mark - for taking the time and effort to organise things and gear us all up into action and make it a great day.
Geoff - it was good to meet you and your wife too after all these years. good cooking skills too pal.
Well the transit made it back ok, went into low power mode about 5 mins from the circuit but i soon feathered the power back and it held 50 for a while before all the power came back - for about and hour. it make it to the variable limit in leeds before the power dropped away again and even then it would hold 70 flat out. it got me home like that so i didn't dare stop.
Well my first time to cadwell was a memorable one. at the end of the day i was becoming familiar with the track and "holding my own" with larger faster bikes in the tighter sections before getting battered on the straights.
The little CRM250 mullered it's tyres, and was a delight to ride. I think it surprised a few folk too.
Only one weapons grade bell end out there on track, sadly on another 400 but not in our group. he was a danger to everyone with clipping passes for no reason. his time will come lets just hope his selfish riding takes no one else out with him - come in No 11 you time is up my old sunbeam.
Some bloody fast guys too, a rapid TDR - actually there were a few of them, guy on a pro am YPVS, and of course loads of others.
Looking forward to the pics.
