porndoguk wrote:No, someone already did it when i bought the bike it doesn't matter seeing as i have a hugger, plus is looks better being on show i guess
so why cover up the shock with that foul protector thing?
i dunno really i fitted before i had the hugger, and didnt really give that a second thought, but i do like the thought that its keeping any crap and moisture out.
iDemonix wrote:Rick, I've bought an S1000RR shock, where did you get your spring from and what spec? D Faulkner want all the measurements etc. I'll prob be after 800lb as I'm about 11.5 stone.
that will be fine i think dan i think 14stone up would require the 825-850lb spring
webby16 wrote:hi rick
just wondering what sort of clearance are you getting with the full tyga system and the chain???
i got the tyga system and the chain isn't close but with a bit a ware in the chain it could be close i suppose, its about an inch to inch and a half clearance?
with the hub rotated downwards, i have about 25mm clearance if i counter rotated the hub id have 50mm at least.

Rick

Depending on how much adjustment you want itll will.need revalveing, ive set mine to all +1 above the middle, but im going to crank it to sport and see how i get on, its very springy. Like a pogo stick, however it still is an improvement and im happy with it.

Cool.

Springy means you gotta stiffen the damping up a bit...right?
