Bad times mate, although I might know where there's a good alternative to the 'official' HRC part, and it might be dirt cheap
The waterpump housing is pretty much a standard part with the barbs for the waterpipes, you can modify a stock one to work the same I believe. If I can do it easily enough and you want it I'll make you the setup at cost (should be about £40) and exchange your old waterpump cover :)

You could just modifiy the pipe work with T pieces to save butchering the pump housing, thats what i intend on doing with the electric water pump setup.

Lol fair enough, I got this one because it's tarty lol hopefully it'll keep the bike nice and cool in the summer months (not sure how hot it's running atm as the guage doesn't appear to work very well, never registers over blue, yet the fan comes on

)
My Suzuka nosecone is going out today, hoping it'll arrive tomorrow, and I can get it fitted for the 2nd when I'll be going for a ride down to Hastings via Box Hill, about 400 miles all in I think.

With regards to the oil cooler - and I have bored people with this before..
If your water cooling system is already running flat out (due to poor rads or whatever) then why is introducing additional heat from the oil going to keep the bike cooler?
If you have capacity in your rads to throw in this extra heat to be disspiated..as in on a race bike, with big rads and high average speeds, then you are laughing.
On a road bike with already marginal cooling, you are going to be worse off.
The solution..fit an Air/oil cooler
It is a nice bit of kit but unless set up with the big rads not worth 50p to keep you cooler in the summer.

For my birthday I'll be getting a set of big alloy radiators from Rick O if he has some, £500, but hopefully I can get half of that from the family (my parents might be able to buy the lower one for me, although dad has a kid on the way, so might get no help from him) So that should go well with the oil cooler.
It is the mayday run DM, I'm going with another forum, we're meeting in the overflow (bikers) carpark by Ryka's cafe at 10ish monday morning, would be great to meet someone else from here

Fair enough mate, apparently we're going in a different way, and shouldn't get so hung up, but would be a good idea just incase :)
Where abouts are you coming from? If you wanna meet at box hill just say and we'll sort something out :)
