Not today, but last Saturday. My shed passed the MOT without a single advisory. :D

Had my second trackday at Brands on the NC30 yesterday - full GP circuit this time
Didn't manage to get my camera working until late in the day. By which time I was knackered and making mistakes. I was a lot happier and faster during the morning sessions if I'm honest. Also plenty of oil had been dropped in several places, which didn't do much for my confidence after lunch. This session was red flagged after a bike crashed on the exit to Clearways. You can see it stranded in the gravel trap as I turn down pit road.

It was a stinking hot day and the heat really got to me by the 2nd afternoon session. Bike seemed to be running really well - pulling well to 13.5k in top along the back straight. Suspension mods were working well too. Just need a lot more practice as I'm still on a steep learning curve. Now looking forward to my next track day at Cadwell Park in July.

Re: What did you do with your NC30/35 today?
I finally found and bought a set of decent NC30 OEM fairings. Should require zero painting and repairs. I got everything even the matching tank. All type 8 (red and black). My NC30 has been wearing crappy fairings for way too long and now I can get rid of my dented tank. At last it's going to be nice and I'll use the other fairings for track days.

Still stripping and cleaning bits and pieces of mine ready for the rebuild.
Got the Engine out of the Frame on Thurs, cleaned the Frame in the ultrasonic tank at work, came up like new.
Was thinking of getting it Powder-coated black, but now I might leave it, decisions, decisions
Engine clean-up next (after removing the two sheared-off exhaust studs) . . .

Rebuilt my Forks last night at work (ZXR400L forks from my NC).
Taking the Engine in tonight for a clean-up and Boro-scoping (checking the pistons/heads/bores without having to strip it).
Then I can start re-assembling it . . . can't wait, been a long time without it
