All back together, picked up my nosecone today, still got a chunk missing, but the crack has been fibreglassed up and it holds well :)
was riding around like this for 2 days, just while I needed to get to work
And I glued the 2 halves of the banjo together to show you how much it bent before snapping

Bike's much happier, gave it an oil change and treated it to the RVF linkage I bought before christmas :D It's raised the back up alot, I can still flat foot the bike, but it doesn't feel so small :D
Now saving furiously for a Suzuka nosecone, will knock around with that for a couple of weeks before getting it painted up

Where exactly is the 35mm raise measured from? Is it the distance between the axle and tail panel or the tip of the tail plastic? I'm just curious as a couple of people have done that mechanics 'it doesn't look good' thing when I've said it's been raised 35mm, you know, sharp intake of breath through pursed lips and clenched teeth thing.
I went out on the bike today actually, and couldn't believe how much nicer it felt! It didn't feel twitchy, just faster and much more stable during cornering. I need to dig into the electrics, the fan comes on, but the temperature guage hasn't even gotten up to 70 degrees

Anyone got any bright ideas?

And i bet these said people have never owned a NC, 35mm extra height on a NC is all good. I think the height increase is measured for seat height. If you like the way it tips in to corners now try a 70 profile front tyre

I don't think they have mate, the main culprick (

) said I need to learn to walk before running as I've not long stacked the bike, I said it's a well known and appreciated mod, and it has made the bike feel alot more 'with it' I might try a 70 profile, but will see how it goes
Got my mirrors and wheel nut spacer from Kris, cheers pal, karma coming your way

Also got my new can straps and my old style Alpinetarts gloves, just the nosecone to go, but know Gav will be doing it when it gets done :)
