We make a hole into the fuel tank, laminate an alu ring and then put the fuel pump on the ring.PARUS wrote:Michael,
How did you fit fuel pump ? Guys told me here that I will broke a fuel tank in case I weld fastener.
The fuel pump came from a honda pc37. I have to say it is a carbon tank.

Just beautiful, Michael! Hope you'll have it running sweet on the EFI next summer, I would think you'll see massive HP/torque gains when properly dynoed in!
I'll openly admit to my plan to more or less copy your method in making the airbox lower part
, hope that's OK!?

Very good work so far.
I notice the standard coil in the picture? Are you planning on keeping this or using the 'stick coil' mod?
The stick coils take up less space than traditional coils and can be wired up easier... the CBR600RR stick coils fit perfectly into the engine but I think you might have to make a screw on adapter for the thread on the top of the spark-plug so the coil fits into the plug?
With 10mm plugs (such as NC24 / ZXR400 it works very good and fits ok)

Alternator:
That´s what Thorsten wrote:
"
First Pic of the VFR/RVF400 Racing Alternator mounted.
This measurement is supposed to give real Gains in accelaration, handling, and even Speed.
As the VFR400 OEM Rotor (same as RC30) has incredible ~ 2,5 kg of rotating Mass .
"
Next week i want to go to Hamburg and see what the fuelinjection make.

Good luck, hope it'll be a success right away! I guess Thorsten has "been there, done that" a few times, so probably you'll have her up and running no problems!

Michael, good luck with testing your uber RVF next week with hopefully the much wanted fuel injection set-up! Keep it coming.

Michael, how're you going to regulate idle? I have stepper motor which control air on the idle, but I didn't see any on your throttle bodies.

I have a throttle sensor on the left side. Is it this what you mean?
