I totally understand not being able to afford these in one shot. If you're serious, I will gladly accept payments until you've paid them off (in a reasonable amount of time of course). Then, I'll send you the pistons. Seriously, that works for us. We need to recoup as much of that $14,400 as possible, even if it's a small chunk at a time.

Realised that the 57mm pistons will make the rvf 2mm oversize-not an option for me i'm afraid.Do you know of anyone who does 1mm oversize pistons(maximum allowed to race in uk) and what,if any,benefits there are offset against the costs?

the RVF pistons do fit right in the CBR400 NC29 and use the same wrist pin and rings, so i cannot see why these would not work in one.
The results i experienced when using the RVF pistons in my CBR were much better mid range and a bit better on the low end. The top end did not not seem greatly effective, but bumping up the compression this much I'm sure would.

These may even fit a Cb400 CB-1.... they use the same rings (cbr/rvf) too I think....

A while back you told me about using RVF pistons in a CBR400RR. I compared the two pistons side-by-side and they are so close to each other, but the CBR has less compression. So, adding RVF pistons bumped the compression already. These Cosworths might bump it to around 14:1, which may not be bad for a race engine.

I will say these will work for a CBR400RR, but I have never installed them. So, check the piston-to-valve very carefully.

Yes Ive been to the website. I asked this question because off what I read on their website.
They never mention cryo wandered if they had tried it or weather theirs a reason for not using it.

But I still don't understand what is Isotropic Superfinishing ?
