If it had a 600 engine in it id expect about 108bhp at least. If you believe me or not its up to you, though im a little surprised that for a forum that I thaught was supposed to be friendly and shared by like minded enthusiasts im dissapointed, instead of answering my original question ,im guessing to which the answer was yes i am at the top end of the ball park so thats good, you instead slag me off call me a liar and some of you tell me you like to go smelling fairytale creatures in your spare time! well im sure thats nice & you enjoy it.
Well im sure you like bickerig amongst yourselves, you carry on I instead will find another place to ask questions somwhere inhabited by people with half a brain at least. Ta Ta

there is no need to be like that, this forum is very useful and everyone helps quite readily without thinking of not helping.usually you will find within 1hr heaps of replys to a query with very useful and helpful tips.

i think what has got peoples goat is the fact you were very dismissive with any information on what modifications you had done so if you are looking for people who are friendly and open with good replys try starting with yourself.

You are not making it easy on yourself are you Spanners?

Regardless of your poor attitude, I would imagine you would learn something from this place and perhaps the CBR crowd could learn from you.

Hopefully you will get your toys back together, take a few minutes to chill out and come back with some constructive, rather than dismissive comments.

The willy waving forums might be keen on you..but this forum is packed full of the most ingenious, dedicated and patient people you could have the pleasure to meet (virtually or not)

So, don't be offended by my words...let's have some give and take. I don't care for CBR but the nerd in me wants to know why the large HP quotes and lack of evidence to back it up?

I fully understand your points here Spanners.

However, as you can probably appreciate, most people here spend good money, a fair average being 3 grand, on getting into the 70's. Most people with full systems and carb/jetting mods are lucky to get much above 62 I bet.

For a V4 (ok yours is Inline I know) to develop 80bhp, I would be looking for a 440 bigbore, HRC or equivalent exhaust, HRC or eq. carbs, HRC or eq. CDI, and some pretty serious engine work, like stripping out back lash gears, rod imporvements aswell as the usual, as well as much more stuff.

If you can get an engine producing a genuine 80+bhp, then people here will want to know what it is, and will be lining your by now sweating palms with fist fulls of cash.

If you dont want to disclose then fair enough, its your research and well done for it. Otherwise a Dyno sheet from a reputable source showing its output will shut them all up and they will gladly pat your back.

Of course you know the truth, so lets hope we see that chart ...

why do you think everyone wants to steal your ideas anyway? to be getting 80+ the tolerances and degree of mods will be too fine to be able to steal in a quick post. If you said it had heads, cams to your design and an exhaust then we could all appreciate.

instead you come on as a 1 post wonder expecting instant respect for nothing.
